Today, all business processes/applications are interconnected. Where's the boundary? So risks associated with having operational threats to a business continues to rise as the threats from viruses, worms and other types of system and network attack increase in complexity. In this session we will discuss Cisco's vision for security to dramatically improve the ability of connected business processes to identify, defend, and adapt to security threats.
About Sam Trad
Sam Trad has been in the industry for 18 years and is currently a Systems Engineer with Cisco Systems based in Melbourne. Sam has been with Cisco for over 5 years. His main technology focus is with Voice and Security. Sam currently works daily with customers and channel partners designing, building and managing secure networks infrastructure and the systems they support. Prior to working with Cisco, Sam worked for the Australian Stock Exchange for 5 years. During this time he worked in a number of areas including Security, LAN communications and design, voice and architecture. Sam has also worked as an independent consultant providing consulting services to Telco's such as Cable and Wireless, Government and Enterprise customers. Sam holds a Cisco Certified Instructor certification and has provided Cisco instructor lead training across Australia and Asia Pacific.
