Comprehensive Network Security for Open Environments
Graham Harvey 2007In a drive to provide easy access to systems and resources on networks to provide easier, better and faster communication for businesses, customers and partners, has resulted in new threats to which we are all exposed. This openness and interconnectivity provides better communication but also introduces additional risks by exposing vulnerabilities which malicious software and users can easily exploit. Using a security platform that enables these threats to be minimized and mitigated is key to securing these open environments as is the requirement that this platform should evolve with these threats as they change.
