      applications)
    - Host hardening
    - Kernel hardening
        - Common toolkits that exist
        - Non execution patches
        - ACL systems
        - Specific hardening approaches
    - Userland hardening
        - Modifying the userland aspect of a host to make it
          harder to exploit.
        - Covers approaches as ET_DYN binaries, and Stack
          Smashing Prevention (SSP).
