An introduction to the use and configuration of firewalls within the universi ty environment.
Topics will include:

• What firewalls are available for my operating system?
• What features do different firewalls have?
• Where should my firewall be located?
• What can and can't a firewall do?
• How do I configure my firewall to block 'X' related traffic?

Examples and demonstrations will be provided for Linux, OS X and Windows.
